In light of current environmental, geopolitical, and social challenges, he aims to reconcile urbanism, design and architecture with civic engagement. He works with students, researchers, and community partners to develop design practices and strategies that promote social-ecological transformation towards a more collaborative, just, and sustainable way of living
He advocates for a teaching methodology rooted in research-driven design, asserting that educators and universities have a responsibility to actively address the challenges of our world.
